POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Hospital is looking for Nurse Education Specialists to work with departments to determine education support needs. The Adult Cardiothoracic ICU Unit at Hospital and Medical Center plays a critical role within the Cardiac and Thoracic Service Line of Excellence supporting it’s “Heart & Lung Institute”, the only stand-alone lung transplant center in the Nation. Committed to the highest level of patient satisfaction, our CICU unit is a dedicated 16-bed unit that supports facilities adult cardiac, vascular and thoracic post surgical patients and has a nurse to patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1.

Facility is looking for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Educator. Qualified candidates will be responsible for competency assessment and education for new and experienced staff as well as providing curriculum development, research and publication assistance.

The PICU is part of the Children’s Health Center at Hospital and Medical Center. The PICU is also a tertiary referral unit for the state of Arizona. Neuroscience pediatric care is offered in collaboration with Neurological Institute The 24 bed Level I PICU provides critical care for all children, ranging from newborn through the age of 21. Our very dedicated staff and care focuses on the special needs of children and their families. Our mission is to provide the best medical and nursing care for all of our patients. We do this through continuity of care, dedicated specialized care, patient safety and family centered care.

In the PICU we take care of a variety of childhood illnesses and diagnoses. Services include; neurosurgery-pre and post op, neurological, trauma, orthopedic, ENT, cranial-facial reconstruction, metabolic disorders, and respiratory illnesses.

The Heart & Lung Institute Hospital and Medical Center focuses on the comprehensive approach to the prevention, treatment and research of cardiac and pulmonary disease. The institute includes the Cardiovascular Center, the Center for Thoracic Disease and Transplantation, and the Congenital Heart Center. The Heart & Lung Institute builds on this facilities long history of offering specialized care for heart and lung disorders, and it features the only lung transplantation program and adult congenital heart program in Phoenix.

JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a qualified Transplant Coordinator who is a member of the transplant team responsible for coordination of the transplant process from candidate referral, evaluation, acceptance, transplant and follow-up. The Transplant Coordinator serves as a critical resource to staff, multi-disciplinary team and the community caring for transplant patients. The Transplant Coordinator also demonstrates knowledge and skills in the care of patients with end-stage pulmonary disease, from adolescent to adult, and will play a role in the comprehensive evaluation of patient(s) for transplant. The Transplant Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of patient care from evaluation to transplantation. This position also maintains UNOS compliance, QA/QI documentation, and will assist in the Medicare certification process. In addition, with the program Medical and Surgical Director and Transplant administrator, the Transplant Coordinator will assist in developing policies and procedures, order sets and pathways to improve overall quality of care and program development. Strong skills in critical thinking, phone triaging, autonomy and decision-making are highly desirable. Must be able to work autonomously within a team environment. Strong communication skills required.

Cardiac Service, heart and lung institute, CVOR has 3 surgical suites conduction 300 congenital heart cases, 125 thoracic and 250 adult heart cases. Staff ratio is 2 RN circulators, a cardio thoracic sub tech, and a Physicians Assistant with clinical monitoring technical and staff perfusion. Hours are 6:30 a – 3 p and 11:00a to 7 p.

Requirements: Must be able to circulate, complex pediatric/congenital and adult cardiovascular and thoracic cases. With 2 yrs RN experience.


General Surgery RN
10-room suite maintains a 1:1 nurse to patient ratio. 14 bay PACU with 2:1 nurse to patient ratio. Level 1 Trauma Center operating 24/7. Call is required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The CRS pediatric program provides all plans related and managed care functions to over 13,000 active members. The program enrolls over 300 new members per month and processes over 12,000 claims during the same period.
CRS provides clinic and tertiary services to medically complex pediatric patients. CRS provides services to enrolled members through subcontracts with hospitals for inpatient and out patient services both in and out of State. Our program contracts with over 800 providers covering the widest array of clinical subspecialties. CRS also encounters over 55,000 patients per year through clinical services and provides 50+ thousand ancillary services per year in areas such as Radiology, Laboratory, Audiology, Speech and Pharmacy.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Utilizing knowledge and experience in Nursing and Coding, incumbent is accountable for conducting a review of claims that require special handling and/or are considered “outliers”. This position is part of the Claims Processing Department and is able to respond to medical review questions that arise from these non-routine claims. Additionally, this position is responsible for supporting Claims Review Process to ensure that it is consistent and efficient.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Educational Requirements:
HS/GED required; Associate Degree preferred.

From delivery to discharge, infants are provided with a unique continuity of care. Nurse-to-Patient ratio of 1:1 or 2 in the NYICU and 1:3 in the NYICU intermediate nurseries

This facility is in the process of becoming a national Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program. (NIDCAP) training center. Specialty Care practices and therapies for neonates include high-frequency jet/oscillator ventilation, nitric oxide, surfactant replacement therapy, ECMO, neurological work ups and intervention, cardiac and surgical and medical therapies.

Minimum Requirements:
